Every since joining our team, Frank Ellul, the Head Chef, has manifested great charisma with both his jovial approach to life as well as his proud abilities in the culinary art. Frank, who also trained in the UK, brings to the team over thirty years of experience with some of the best restaurants in Malta and embodies the Ta' Marija spirit of presenting traditional Maltese cuisine with a smart, presentable flair.
Mario Schembri and RoseMary Borg - Assistant Chefs
Frank is joined by Mario Schembri, a quiet yet very able and experienced Chef who enhances the modern version of presentation of Ta' Marija cuisine. Rose Mary Borg on the other hand represents the Maltese housewife, with previous experience in a family bakery, and now after five years at Ta' Marija, a proud and very able assistant chef.
Leone Zammit - Restaurant Service Manager
Leone is an exceptional, ever impeccable and smartly dressed Maitre D, where clients always note the pride in which he serves guests. A warm and friendly personality, Leone has a vast range of experience in established Maltese restaurants, banqueting establishments as well as five star hotels.
